The new year of Sunday School will begin on August 26 at 9:30 in the fellowship hall with Rally Day for all ag-es. Breakfast will be served and teachers will be introduced.
Here is what we need to have a successful Sunday School this year:
Volunteers to staff the nursery during the Sunday school hour
2 teachers for the Pre-K class
6 teachers for God’s Eden
(1 each for art, games, computer, cooking, drama and movie)
1-2 teachers for the Youth class (they have request-ed one “younger” teacher)
1 teacher for the Seekers class (plus 1 substitute)
2 teachers for the Adult Bible Study class (that meets in the fellowship hall)
In addition to leadership we need students of all ages that are committed to attend regularly to grow their faith and to learn to live as a faithful person in our world.
Please prayerfully consider your role in our Christian Ed-ucation program for the 2012-2013 year.
If you taught last year and are willing to teach again, please let Beth Brittain know as soon as possible.
An organizational Teachers’ meeting for the children and youth teachers will take place on Sunday, August 19 at 9:30 am in the church parlor. Curriculum, teacher expectations and job descriptions will be distributed.
The first actual day of full Sunday School is September 2. See you there!
