JANUARY 2013

Special thanks to all our church musicians who led and participated in the beautiful ring-ing and singing throughout the Advent and Christmas season. Now that Epiphany is in our midst we are engaged with music for this season, as well as upcoming Lent and Easter. The choirs are always thinking 4-12 weeks ahead. 

The members of the church choir wish to thank our Christmas Party hosts, Tom & Shirley Caus-by. The Causbys have opened their doors to the choir for over 30 years! 

Thursday, January 24 at 7:30 pm a concert presented by the Nordic Choir from Luther Col-lege in Decorah, Iowa will be held at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Hickory. The church ad-dress is: 547 6th Street, NW. There will be a freewill offering (No tickets required). 

A number of us have attended the phenomenal performance of this touring choir. We will of-fer a caravan for this concert. In order to hope to get a seat we will need to depart Holy Comforter at 6:00 pm sharp. Let Greg Cline know ASAP is you wish to attend, and the number in your party. We will try to coordinate as few carloads as possible.
